If you are a daily commuter in Jakarta, especially by your own car… then you must be aware that the traffic in Jakarta is nasty… terrible… horrifying…
In Jakarta, the only place where a BMW get a chance to be side by side with buses, motorcycles, bajaj (three-wheeled vehicle, a hybrid vehicle between scooter and compact car). It is most likely that your car either hit by bikes (happen to me often, but most of the time the hitters just run away) or scratched by metromini or angkot or even bajaj without notice and you only realize when you wash your car suddenly a long scratch (comes either in red, orange or blue) marked on the body paint…. Your flawless, clean, shining paint now have been ruin… No need to worry, if it only a scratch of paint in a different color… then it would be easy to remove and clean it… And I promise you, it won’t cost more than Rp. 1000
The preparation :
Tools and materials :
- Clean and dry cotton towel
- Plas Chamois
- Mosquito repellant lotion
The step:
- Wash your car, and make sure that it’s only a scratch without dent…
- get the mosquito repellant and put it on along the scratch mark
- With clean and dry towel or mop, rub it gently but with a bit of pressure until the paint is removed
- Clean the residue of the mosquito repellant using plas chamois or dry towel
- Done… finish, as good as new…
It’s tested and works well with my car (silver painted with 50 cm blue scratch) !
